Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok is facing backlash for a feature that creates sexualised images of women without consent. Users have digitally removed clothing from pictures, including of children, prompting complaints and emotional harm. Grok acknowledged safeguard lapses, saying “We’ve identified lapses in safeguards and are urgently fixing them,” while Musk posted laugh-cry emojis at the controversy. Authorities in India and France are demanding action against obscene AI-generated content.
