A school bus driver was fired after posting a sign in her bus window stating, “Out of respect to English-only students, there will be no speaking Spanish on this bus.” The driver, Diane Crawford, claimed her intention was to create a safe environment, not to be racially insensitive. The Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division will reportedly investigate her termination.
